rosien herweijer - managing director

Trained as an economist, Rosien has held several management positions in Dutch and international development agencies, such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, SNV, PSO, and UNDP. Based in Brussels, she also works as a consultant on team management and gender issues. At Euforic her work focuses on strategy development, management, and finance. Contact

Jacques is reponsible for content management, website development and editorial policy. Before joining Euforic, he worked at ECDPM, Maastricht, and CEDLA, Amsterdam. He has been convenor of the EADI Working Group on Information and Documentation, secretary of the Dutch Association for Information and International Development (VIIO), and co-founder of the European Information and Documentation Network on Latin America (REDIAL). Martin studied European Studies at Chemnitz University of Technology (Germany) and did a Master at Maastricht University. Before, he worked as Project Manager at the Polish Humanitarian Organization in Warsaw, and in the field of Project Development and Writing at NAVTI Foundation NGO, Cameroon. Contact

hugo besemer - associate

Hugo is an entomologist by training but has worked most of his career in the area of agricultural and development information. He has worked as a consultant with a variety of development organisations such as FAO, Oneworld, CGIAR, DFID and IICD, bringing him vast experience on the technical as well as the organisational and policy aspects of information services.
