Trained as an economist, Rosien has held several management positions in Dutch and international development agencies, such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, SNV, PSO, and UNDP. Jacques is reponsible for content management, website development and editorial policy. Before joining Euforic, he worked at ECDPM, Maastricht, and CEDLA, Amsterdam. He has been convenor of the EADI Working Group on Information and Documentation, secretary of the Dutch Association for Information and International Development (VIIO), and co-founder of the European Information and Documentation Network on Latin America (REDIAL).

Hugo is an entomologist by training but has worked most of his career in the area of agricultural and development information. He has worked as a consultant with a variety of development organisations such as FAO, Oneworld, CGIAR, DFID and IICD, bringing him vast experience on the technical as well as the organisational and policy aspects of information services.
