euforic relaunches web site | debate on EU co-operation[ Version FR ]

On December 18 2003, Euforic unveiled its redesigned web site on an event in the International Press Centre in Brussels. The re-launch was met with great enthusiasm by the public. The site offers more direct access to the wealth of information (topical pages, documents, electronic debates, news, activities and an agenda) available on the wide variety of topics on Europe's development co-operation policies and actions.

Thanks to a clear and defined architecture combined with an engaging new look, Euforic connects organisations to a global audience of policymakers and development experts.

During a lively debate between representatives of the ACP countries, the EU and UNDP and the audience mainly composed of NGO representatives and the media, it became clear that civil society plays a key role in keeping development cooperation high on the agenda in order to increase the volume of aid and to enhance its effectiveness. This is where Euforic jumps in with its information and communication resources and tools, taking up this host of challenges!
